Carousel Museum

The Babcock Library offers passes for free or reduce admission to several Connecticut Museums.

One of the many selections is for the Carousel Museum.The Carousel Museum is a non-profit organization that preserves and exhibits antique and modern carousel art, and celebrates dedicated craftsmen, to inspire creativity, joy, and wonder.

At the same site is the Museum of Fire History, and is included is included with admission to the Carousel Museum.

Discover a fascinating array of fire-fighting and fire house signaling equipment and memorabilia. Wonderfully displayed with alarms to pull, sirens to set off and bells to ring. The Fire Museum is available for school groups and adult tours.
